From John Kurmann...
It's been quite a long time since I've sent out a list like this, which I called Green Resources in those earlier incarnations. Consequently, there are lots of new additions here. I've also created categories in order to try to make this list easier to use. Please send me any resources you come across that you think might belong on this list. I also welcome your comments and suggestions for improvements, and feel free to forward this list to anyone you think might be interested.
While I don't think buying "greener products" has any chance to save the world, I'm convinced it can substantially lessen the destructiveness of our lifestyle while we figure out how to save the world. As long as I'm still participating in the civilizational economy, I want my purchasing choices within it to be as responsible as possible.
I've learned about these products and services from a variety of sources and consider them to be worth telling people about. However, I haven't personally bought or used most of them so I can't possibly vouch for them personally or in any way guarantee their quality or performance. You'll have to use your own judgment as to whether or not to purchase or rely on them. If you have negative experiences with any of the products or services you see here, please tell me about them. And do tell me if any of these links don't work by the time you try to use them so I can update this list.
