Coalition of health, religious, rural development, and environmental groups launch campaign to promote wind power and refute claims that a massive coal plant is good for Kansas

Press Conference at the State Capitol on Wednesday at noon

Topeka, KS - A broad coalition of health, religious, rural development and environmental groups will hold a press conference to announce a unified campaign to support clean energy for Kansas' future and to explain why a massive coal plant proposed for Western Kansas is not in the long-term best interests of the health of the state's citizens, the state's economy, and its environment.

WHEN: Wednesday, October 10th, 2007, 12 noon after the KEC hearing

WHERE: South Steps of the State Capitol Building in Topeka, KS
