Governor, Don't Back Down

Dear Kansas Sierra Club Tree Member,

We will likely be asking you often to respond during this year's legislative session. The Old Guard in the Legislature is in denial regarding the future of energy. They will be making every attempt to overturn Kansas Dept of Health & Environment Sec. Bremby's decision to deny the Holcomb Coal Plant permit.

There are rumors that Sunflower is attempting to negotiate a deal with Governor Sebelius. It is time to tell the governor that NO DEAL IS THE BEST DEAL when it comes to Sunflower's Holcomb II project. Please call or write the governor and tell her not to bargain away the administration's courageous and correct decision by Secretary Bremby.
